Scripture for Reflection and Preparation

2 Corinthians 7:1 “1 Therefore dear friends, since we have such promises, we should wash ourselves clean from every impurity of the flesh and spirit, making our sanctification complete in the fear of god.”

Titus 2:11-14 “11 For the grace of god has appeared, with salvation for all people,
12 instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, 13 while we wait for
the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great god and Savior, Jesus Christ. 14 He gave Himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for Himself a special people, eager to do good works.”

2 Timothy 2:21 “21 So if anyone purifies himself from these things, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to
the Master, prepared for every good work.”

Rejection of Immorality

God must reveal the wickedness of sin before many people will reject immorality.

Preparation

• Help parents reject immorality for the sake of their children and their marriage

• Convict those who live off of immorality like the pornographers and abortion providers

• Guide Congress to pass laws that restrict immoral behavior, especially laws that protect the unborn and other vulnerable people

• Help churches work with their communities to set new standards for public morality

Thanksgiving

• Thank God for hearing you

• Trust that God is at work to accomplish His will
