Day 6: Concern for the Lost

Day 6 OCTOBER 3, 2012

prayer for personal revival

Scripture for Reflection and Preparation

Isaiah 55:10-11 “10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven, and do not return there without saturating the earth, and making it germinate and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat,11 so My word that comes from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what i please, and will prosper in what i send it [to do].”

Luke 10:2 “2 He told them: ‘The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

Matthew 28:18-20 “18 Then Jesus came near and said to them, ‘all authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything i have commanded you. and remember, i am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

Concern for the Lost

Christians should be genuinely, deeply burdened for lost souls.

• Allow His Spirit to draw you near

• Listen as He speaks to you

• Save the lost people you will pray for right now

• Lead you to more lost people to witness to
