Day 36 Friday, November 2, 2012
prayer for Wisdom to Elect the
Best Officials
Scripture for Reflection and Preparation
Proverbs 1:7 “7 The fear of the lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
Proverbs 12:3, 5 “3 Man cannot be made secure by wickedness, but the root of the righteous is immovable.5 The thoughts of the righteous [are] just, but guidance from the wicked [leads to] deceit.”
Psalm 72: 1-4 “1 god, give your justice to the king and your righteousness to the king’s son. 2 He will judge your people with righteousness and your afflicted ones with justice. 3 May the mountains bring prosperity to the people, and the hills, righteousness. 4 May he vindicate the afflicted among the people, help the poor, and crush the oppressor.”
