prayer for Wisdom for public Officials
Scripture for Reflection and Preparation
Proverbs 8:15-16 “15 it is by me that kings reign and rulers enact just law; 16 by me, princes lead, as do nobles [and]
all righteous judges.”
Luke 12:48 “48 But the one who did not know, and did things deserving of blows, will be beaten lightly. Much will be required of everyone who has been given much. and even more will be expected of the one who has been entrusted with more.”
Philippians 2:3-4 “3 Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.
4 Everyone should look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”
